2022 Plant Cell Atlas Symposium

Virtual Symposium
December 12 & 13, 2022

The goal of the Plant Cell Atlas (PCA) is to bring together a community who will comprehensively describe plant cell types by integrating high-resolution subcellular and cellular location information of nucleic acids, proteins, and metabolites.

Symposium Goals:

  1. Share the most exciting scientific and technological breakthroughs in plant science as it is relevant to developing a Plant Cell Atlas.
  2. Create a forum for people interested in these approaches and their application to plants to meet and network.
  3. Discuss the needs of the PCA community and gather input on what is needed to develop a Plant Cell Atlas resource.

Each day will consist of two oral sessions and one poster session. Each oral session will feature two invited speakers and two speakers selected from abstract submissions. The oral sessions will also include time for open discussions on PCA community building and data handling. Further details of the agenda will be posted here in the upcoming months.

Recordings of the nine of the talks can be found on the PCA YouTube channel.

Designated Safety Officers:

We are no longer accepting abstracts.

Abstract Submission Deadline – Talks & Posters: October 12, 2022
Poster File Submission Deadline: December 5, 2021

Abstracts may be submitted on any topic related to the Plant Cell Atlas, including but not limited to: single-cell or spatial omics (proteomics, metabolomics, and/or transcriptomics), advanced imaging, data integration, systems biology, synthetic biology, and genetic engineering.

There is no fee to submit an abstract. NOTE: You still need to register for the meeting through the registration link above even if you submit an abstract.

Abstracts should be no longer than 1 page and submitted as a PDF or Word document. Please include:

  • Title
  • Author(s) – presenter name in bold
