Plant Cell Atlas Multiplex Microscopy Symposium

Virtual Workshop
May 19, 2022

The goal of the Plant Cell Atlas (PCA) is to bring together a community who will comprehensively describe plant cell types by integrating high-resolution subcellular and cellular location information of nucleic acids, proteins, and metabolites. In particular, spatial-omics techniques are rapidly advancing and transforming the way we understand complex organisms and their interactions with the environment. One form, termed “multiplex” microscopy, has been increasingly applied in complex tissue systems to understand disease and development. Multiplex microscopy simultaneously and/or sequentially visualizes an extended array of biomolecular probes on single sections/cell monolayers and intact tissues and organisms, thus providing high-dimensional physical mapping of numerous cellular phenotypes and components over heterogeneous tissues and complements other high-resolution omics such as single-cell sequencing. This PCA symposium brings together pioneers, early adopters and commercial experts in a broad array of cutting-edge multiplex imaging and analysis approaches to encourage further development and adoption by the plant science community.

Registration is closed for the PCA Multiplex Microscopy Symposium.
